The Neighborhood

Park Slope is one of Brooklyn’s most historic and picturesque neighborhoods, known for its 19th-century brownstones, tree-lined streets, and strong sense of community. Much of the area is landmarked, preserving the architectural character that gives the neighborhood its charm.

At its heart is Prospect Park, the 585-acre green space designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. Just a short walk away, the park offers wooded paths, open meadows, a 3.35-mile running and biking loop, playgrounds, and the peaceful Prospect Park Lake. Nearby are the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, and the iconic Grand Army Plaza entrance.

Along 5th and 7th Avenues, independent cafés, neighborhood restaurants, and small shops create a lively but welcoming atmosphere. With easy access to the F, G, and R trains, Manhattan is typically 20 to 40 minutes away.

Park Slope offers the rare balance of historic beauty, green space, and true neighborhood life — close to the city, yet comfortably residential.
